On Sunday, January 31st, at 5:00 p.m., the Columbus Jewish Day School will proudly host the sixth annual Wisdom of the HeART fundraiser to support arts and educational programming at the school.

Gigi & Sam Fried will be honored at this year's event, for their strong support of CJDS and their tireless dedication to the arts, education, politics and social justice in the community.  They also have the distinction of being the first family to have both children and grandchildren attend CJDS.

This year's event, which will take place at the school's new home at 150 E. Granville Road in New Albany, gives the community the opportunity to visit the school's new state-of-the-art educational facility.  "We are excited to finally be hosting Wisdom in the new building," said event co-chair Pam Sharfin.  "The space is ideal and we anticipate a fun, lively evening."

The evening will consist of a kosher buffet dinner and silent auction featuring restaurant and retail gift certificates, home accessories, sports tickets, art, jewelry and more.  Proceeds from the event provide critical funding for arts and educational programs at CJDS.

Families, faculty, community leaders and other supporters are invited to attend, and celebrate the school's unique culture and contribution to Jewish education in Columbus. Tickets start at $50.  For more information, please contact Kathy McGee at (614) 939-5311 or This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it
