Albert Rosenberg, born November 4, 1918, in Vincennes, Ind., died December 16, 2009. Predeceased by sons, Steven Jay and David Jay. Survived by wife of 59 years, Edith; sons, Neil and Marshall; granddaughter, Michaela. Albert graduated from Indiana University with a J.D. and is a World War II veteran. He was a business owner for 40 years and member of Board of Trustees of Vincennes University for 25 years, serving as Chairman for ten years. He helped organize the Knox County, Indiana United Way, where he served on the board for ten years. With others, he established Knox County's first special education classes for the mentally retarded and developmentally disabled. Graveside services were held on Friday, December 18 at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens - Temple Israel Section with Rabbi Cary Kozberg and Rabbi Sharon Mars officiating.
