Nancy Falchuk will also be speaking at the Distinguished Donors Event the previous evening. The minimum donation to attend is $1000 ($500 for those 45 or younger). This event is co-chaired by Julie Cohen and Nancy Rozenbojm.

“Each one of us has a fire in our hearts for something wonderful. The fire in my heart is for Hadassah,” said Falchuk. “For 95 years, Hadassah women have overcome the obstacles of war, terror and disease to save lives, heal bodies, and educate minds. From the first two American Jewish nurses we sent to Palestine, Hadassah’s primary goal has never wavered. It remains what it has always been – to support the land, the people, and the well-being of Israel.”

Falchuk, who has been deeply involved in Hadassah for 30 years, has held many volunteer posts for the Boston chapter and at the national level. In addition to being a founding member of the Hadassah Medical Organization Board, Falchuk has served as National Coordinator of Development, Coordinator of Hadassah International and Chair of the 2000 National Convention.

She grew up on Long Island in a home imbued with Zionist values and a Hadassah focus. Some of her earliest memories are of her mother planning Hadassah programs (as she still does today).

Hadassah, the Women’s Zionist Organization of America, supports Hadassah Medical Organization, Youth Aliyah/Children at Risk, Hadassah College Jerusalem, Jewish National Fund and Young Judaea. Each of these projects represents an opportunity for fulfilling the most sacred of Jewish values, Tikkun Olam, saving the world.
