Jonah Bradley Stavsky, son of Lisa and Seth Stavsky, was called to the Torah, Parshat Emor, on May 9, 2009, at Beth Jacob Congregation. Stavsky is the grandson of Rosalyn Finkelstein and the late Herman Finkelstein (zt”l) of Cedarhurst, N.Y, and Ruth Stavsky and the late Rabbi David Stavsky (zt”l) of Columbus. He is brother to Jared and Tamar. Stavsky is a seventh-grade student at Columbus Torah Academy. He received his bar mitzvah training from Eran Rosenberg and his father. He also prepared for his bar mitzvah by learning with his cousin, Rabbi Naphtali Weisz, and prepared to lead the services by Cantor Jeff Siegel. Stavsky plays junior high basketball for Columbus Torah Academy and enjoys video games, bike riding and roller coasters. |
